Our environmental monitoring team provides a holistic service, from sample collection to laboratory analysis. We operate a fleet of well-equipped 4WD vehicles and all work is undertaken by our trained professional staff. We provide our clients with meaningful environmental surveillance data that helps them meet their statutory/regulatory obligations and provide the information needed for mine planning and critical decisions. CoalBed Laboratories' specialised sampling and analytical testing services provide technical staff, field measurements, sampling and data management for:

We utilise a variety of sophisticated field and laboratory instrumentation and sampling equipment including:
- Multi-parameter analysers for in-situ measurement of water
- Multi-parameter analyser for diurnal in-situ monitoring
- Water Level Monitoring
- Environmental Dust Monitoring
- Discrete and/or composite sampling over defined time periods
Our sampling protocols are customisable to site specific requirements, based on:
- AS/NZS 5667.1 Water Quality Sampling
- Monitoring and Sampling Manual 2009 - Environmental Protection (Water) Policy 2009.
